Thank
you to all of you who have supported or have come alongside ATLAS in some way. We
minister to those who have no church background, who don’t feel connected in
their church or who may need help finding a church home. Most people walking
through our doors are hurting in one way or another and just want to be heard,
seen, loved and met where they are at. Our goal is to collaborate with as many
Churches and Christ following individuals as possible so that our Mentees can
grow in their faith, become solid Christ followers and become active members of
area churches. We strive to be the bridge to the church. Would you take a
pledge to help us?
This is what we are looking for:
Prayer-
Prayer is one of the foundations of ATLAS. Will you actively pray for ATLAS,
the staff, the mentors and the mentees? Will you stop in to our prayer room and
pray over the hundreds of prayer requests?
Mentors- Would you
consider talking to some of your friends, family or church family about
becoming a mentor or volunteering through ATLAS? Or if you are not yet
mentoring, would you consider becoming one? We train, equip and give ongoing support
to our mentors.
Awareness-
Will you help spread the word about ATLAS and what we do? Many people still do
not know about us and how we help our community. Will you share our events and fundraisers
with your circle of friends, family, co-workers and church family? Word of
mouth is our best ally.
Mentees – If you know
someone who needs a friend, someone to talk to, wants to grow in their faith,
is lonely or just having life struggles, will you refer them to ATLAS?
Support- If you know
someone who is looking to support local missions, will you tell them about ATLAS?
Will you tell your missions team at your church about ATLAS? If you have the
means to help and would like to, would you consider giving a monthly donation?
If you are estate planning, would you consider ATLAS? If you are in need of
Christian gifts will you stop by and shop at our ABIDE Boutique inside the
ATLAS office?
Thank
you for your continued support and helping build God’s kingdom, it really does
take a village.
